Daniel and Ortolaan recently made a noteworthy appearance at the World Cup finals in Basel during the CSI3*, marking the first show of the year for the talented duo. Competing in the challenging 150cm LR class, they showcased their skills and dedication in front of a vibrant audience.

In the 150cm class, Daniel and Ortolaan faced a demanding course that tested their precision and teamwork. Despite having one rail down, they delivered a commendable performance that reflected their hard work. 



Daniel and Ortolaan at the World Cup Finals in Basel: A Strong Start to the Year


This week Daniel Meech Stables traveled to Zwitzerland to attend the prestigious CSI5* Show in Sankt Gallen.  
World's best riders were competing including Swiss favorites Steve Guerdat and Martin Fuchs.  

It was a week with a lot of rain which made the riding conditions challenging, but this could not stop the team to jump into some nice results. Daniel and Ortolaan jumped into a 9th place in the 150cm class. Casalligo jumped a nice clear in the 140cm and 145cm class. In addition he jumped his first 150cm class with only one unlucky fault at the end of the course.  

This year the "Best Grooms 2024" awards sponsored by Beat Mandli were presented st the show. Here the nr 3 award went to the best worker at Daniel Meech Stables, Daniel's wife, Whitney Stinges- Meech.
